Coming in January 2026!
I'm delighted to announce that in January 2026, The Trans-Atlantic Journal of the International Court of Justice ("Journal") will publish its Inaugural Issue.
The Journal's articles will focus on important cases from the history of not only the International Court of Justice ("I.C.J."), but also its predecessor, the Permanent Court of International Justice ("P.C.I.J.") and the relevance of those cases today.
In addition, each issue will contain a biographical piece on the lawyers and jurists at the PCIJ and the ICJ who made outstanding contributions to the advancement of public international law, giving depth and texture to the understanding of the field.
Finally, there will be an article on a recent or current case or advisory opinion of the ICJ, with scholarly considerations on not only the legal, but political and diplomatic consequences of the case or opinion in question.
This summer (2025), we will send out a 'Call for Papers', so please stay tuned to LinkedIn and other media platforms!
